Looks like a calculator. Opens your private vault.
Valculator is a working calculator with an encrypted vault behind it for the photos, videos, files and notes you’d rather keep to yourself. On your Home Screen it’s simply called “Calculator”. No account, no servers, no tracking, no ads.

How do I open the vault? Type your PIN on the calculator and press =. If you turned on Face ID in Settings, you can also touch and hold =.
I typed my PIN and nothing happened. Make sure you press = right after the last digit. A wrong PIN just works out as an ordinary sum, so nobody watching can tell it was a PIN.
I forgot my PIN. Can you reset it? No. Your vault is encrypted with a key that comes from your PIN, and we never have a copy of either, so nobody can open it without the PIN. Keep it somewhere safe.
What happens when I leave the app? The calculator covers the vault the moment you switch away, so the app switcher only ever shows a calculator. Unlock again and you’re back exactly where you were: the same photo, video or note.
Where is my vault stored? Where you chose during setup: inside the app on your iPhone, or in a folder in the Files app (which can be on iCloud Drive). A vault in Files survives even if the app is deleted. Everything in it is encrypted; the files can’t be read without your PIN.
How do I back up my vault? Settings → Export Encrypted Backup saves a zip of the encrypted vault wherever you like. It still needs your PIN to open. To restore, unzip it and choose that folder during setup.
Do my imported photos stay in the Photos app? After importing, the app offers to delete the originals from Photos. iOS asks you to confirm, and deleted photos go to Recently Deleted as usual, so empty that too if you want them gone.
Can I edit photos and videos in the vault? Yes: crop, adjust brightness, contrast and saturation, filters and stickers for photos; trim and save a frame for videos. Edits never leave the vault.
How do I change the app icon? Settings → App Icon. Classic is free; Light and Green come with Pro.
Everything in Valculator is free. The free version imports until your vault holds 100 items; nothing is ever locked or hidden, and new notes, duplicates and edited copies don’t count. Pro is a single payment with no subscription and adds:
Pro is tied to your Apple Account. On a new phone, open Settings → Calculator Pro → Restore Purchases. Family Sharing is supported.
