How do I set a wallpaper? Select a wallpaper in the sidebar, then click a display chip in the detail pane — or use “Play on all monitors”. Click an active chip again to stop it on that display.
How do I add my own videos?
Click Add Video (or press ⌘O), or simply drag video files anywhere onto the Vividwall window. MP4, MOV, M4V, AVI, and MPEG are supported.
Can each display show a different wallpaper? Yes — pick any wallpaper for any display. Each video also has its own playback speed (0.25×–2×), and every display showing that video stays in sync.
Does it drain my battery? Vividwall is built to be polite: Battery Guard pauses playback when your battery runs low, and playback also pauses in Low Power Mode, when your Mac runs warm, and when full-screen apps cover the desktop. All of this is configurable in Settings.
I deleted a built-in wallpaper. Can I get it back? Yes — open Settings and click Restore Built-in Wallpapers.
Where are my videos stored? Imported videos are copied into Vividwall’s own library inside the app’s sandbox container. Your original files are never modified or moved.
What does Vividwall require? A Mac running macOS 13 (Ventura) or later.
