Privacy Policy — Ludo Pagla

Ludo Pagla (“the app” or “the game”) is developed and published by RainLab, Dhaka, Bangladesh. This policy explains what information the game handles, where it is stored, and the choices you have.

The short version: Ludo Pagla is an offline game. Your matches and settings stay on your phone. We do not run game servers, we do not require an account, and we do not collect your gameplay data. The only information that leaves your device is what is needed to deliver optional push notifications (see section 2).

1. Information the app stores

Ludo Pagla is an offline board game. To do its job, it saves the following in the app’s private storage on your device:

• Saved matches so you can resume a game later (board state, players, scores)
• App preferences (language, theme, and house-rule settings)

All of this is saved only in the app’s private storage on your device. It is never transmitted to RainLab or to any third party. We have no access to it.

Ludo Pagla does not require an account, does not ask for your identity, does not collect your contacts or location, and does not track how you play.

2. Push notifications

Ludo Pagla uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), a service provided by Google, to send optional notifications such as game announcements and updates. To make delivery possible:

• Firebase generates a registration token — an identifier for your specific app installation on your device — and stores it on Google’s servers so a message can be routed to your device. This token is not your name, email, or phone number, and it is not linked to your identity.
• We may use this to send occasional announcements about Ludo Pagla. Notifications are not based on your gameplay, and none of your saved matches or settings are shared to deliver them.
• On Android 13 and newer, the app asks for notification permission. You can decline, and you can turn notifications off at any time in your device’s system settings — the game remains fully playable without them.

Google’s handling of the registration token and message delivery is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. Firebase Cloud Messaging is used only to deliver these notifications; the data is never sold and never used for third-party advertising.

3. What we do NOT do

• We do not collect, receive, or store your saved games or settings
• We do not require an account or collect your identity
• We do not sell or share any data with third parties
• We do not show third-party advertising
• We do not use your data for advertising or profiling of any kind
• We do not collect your location or contacts

4. Data security

Your game data is protected by your device’s standard app-sandbox security: no other app can read Ludo Pagla’s private storage. The notification registration token travels to Google over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Because your saved games live on your device, anyone you hand your unlocked phone to can open the app; please use a device lock.

5. Data retention and deletion

• Uninstalling the app, or clearing the app’s data from system settings, permanently deletes all locally stored Ludo Pagla data (saved matches and settings) on that device.
• You can delete individual saved matches from within the game at any time.
• To stop the notification token from being used, turn off notifications for Ludo Pagla in your device settings, or uninstall the app. Inactive tokens are expired by Google automatically.

RainLab never receives your saved games or settings and cannot delete or recover them for you.

6. Children

Ludo Pagla is a classic board game suitable for a general audience, including families. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

7. Changes to this policy

If the app gains features that change how data is handled (for example, online multiplayer, accounts, analytics, or crash reporting), this policy will be updated before those features launch, and the effective date above will change. Material changes will be announced inside the app.
